Horizon Scanning

Currently exploring

  • Learning

Distributed systems — consensus algorithms (Raft, Paxos) and horizontal scaling strategies for planet-scale apps.

  • Learning

AI infrastructure — the stack required to serve, train, and orchestrate large language models at scale.

My approach to learning

Tools are temporary, but principles are permanent. I stay current with the latest frameworks and languages, but my primary focus is always on the underlying patterns of computer science and design — the mathematical beauty of functional programming, the psychological nuances of UX. Diving into the “why” before the “how” lets me adapt quickly to any stack while keeping a consistent quality of output.
